In the on-site service application, by default, the product catalog is visible in all categories. I would like to be able to limit this view to one or two categories (such as spare parts).
A specific user will only be able to see the categories necessary for his function.
Do you have any ideas for this?

This is not a default feature in Odoo, but you can achieve it by either purchasing a paid module suggested by other members above or using this free module: Product Restriction Per User . Alternatively, you can customize access rules to filter categories per user. Paid and Free modules are almost same or it doesn't matter which one you use.
