X-Technology Swiss R&D AG, based in Wollerau, Switzerland, is a pioneering research and
development company specializing in high-performance sportswear.
With patented technologies integrated into products, offering doubled cooling and superior
performance and esteemed brands X-Bionic and X-Socks, their global presence spans 50
countries. The products are both sold directly to the consumer (D2C) and through resellers
(B2B).
Running a smooth supply chain in fashion is hard enough. Add multiple global suppliers,
fluctuating stock levels, and constant adjustments to purchase orders, and it quickly
becomes chaotic.
Too often, supplier communication still happens via email. This leads to long back-and-forths
on prices, delivery dates, and quantities, which costs time and increases the risk of
mistakes. Teams lose track of what changed and why. For X-Bionic, a premium sportswear
manufacturer with complex seasonal purchasing needs and high quality standards, this was
a recurring pain point.
To solve it, much. Consulting developed a collaborative change request system inside Odoo.
Suppliers can now propose updates to purchase orders directly through the portal. The
purchase team is notified immediately and can review, accept, or reject each suggestion with
full traceability.
This balances supplier flexibility with buyer control and removes the friction from everyday
PO communication.
