After a rewarding experience as a consultant in a sustainability firm and later in a bank, Ephraïm began his journey as a Business Advisor at Odoo two years ago, supporting startups and small businesses seeking to improve their operations.
This flow shows how Odoo can easily manage a mixed sale: a physical product (such as a charging station) + an associated service (such as on-site installation). All in a single quote.
As soon as the quote is validated, Odoo creates a project linked to the order, using the customer's name and the sales reference.

The consultant encodes his hours in the installation task, either in real time or via the schedule.
Product sales also have an impact on project profitability.
Product sales also have an impact on project profitability.
All this feeds the timesheets, and gives a complete analytical vision of the project.
The result? Odoo automatically calculates the project margin, by combining:
- The cost of materials (via stock),
- The cost of time (via hourly rate),
- The selling price of the service.
What I want to emphasize here is the continuity between sales (delivery) and project follow-up. Everything runs smoothly, with no re-keying, and with real visibility on profitability.
And in reality, this is a need that we often come across: companies that sell a product + a service, and find it hard to link everything together. With this flow, I can show that everything links up automatically. And this flow speaks as much to the salesperson as it does to the logistician or project manager.
