Responsibilities
The Product Owner drives continuous product improvement within a dynamic environment. This role is highly independent and demands creativity to identify solutions that maximize value while aligned with the product vision. Effective collaboration is essential with technical teams in Hong Kong and R&D in Belgium, as well as diverse internal and external stakeholders. Specifically, we are seeking a Product Owner to lead the localization of Odoo Accounting for APAC markets
Your role will involve but not limited to:
- Evaluate and assess local market requirements and regulations
- Write specifications to translate local requirements into functional features
- Draft and maintain comprehensive localization documentation
- Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders (users, partners, developers, consultants, etc)
- Conduct alpha testing with various use cases to validate feature functionality and performance
- Provide constructive feedback or take a lead in improvement of existing features
- Proactively track market regulatory and policy changes

MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree or higher
Fluent in spoken English + an APAC language
Knowledge of Accounting Management
Proactive attitude
NICE TO HAVE
Excellent analysis and communication skills
Good knowledge in business process
Previous exposure to localisations
Experience in working with a payroll or an accounting software
