I've a custom module which add new field in some table. In V7, when I remove the installed module, the field is also remove from database.
For some reason (module rename, merge in another module), I want to uninstall the origin module without removing field from database.
How can I do that ?
You can backup the data and remove the module and restore the data again. I think it's the only way.
