when i open the site after logging into odoo, I dont see any way to access my site to edit it (either on the site, or on odoo's site). What am I missing? It's just a basic site, no sales or anything else
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Comptabilité
- Inventaire
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

You need the Website module installed.
Even if your company has a website, Odoo treats the Website as a separate app.
Without it, you can’t access the “Edit” button or the drag-and-drop builder.
You need the correct access rights / role.
Only users with Website Manager or Administrator rights can edit the website.
If you’re just a regular user, you might see the site but no “Edit” option.
You need to go through the Website app, not just log into the backend.
Logging into Odoo takes you to the main dashboard (apps you have access to), not directly into the site editor.
