In the Sales App there are quite nice possibilities to evaluate the order backlog and other evaluations based on SOs. We have also found a way to make this available to the sales representatives (for their territories) and not only to the sales admin.
So far, so good.
However, sales reps of course need to see turnover, at least their own. I know that this works very nicely with accounting - but I can't give accounting rights to every sales employee! So how can I display turnover from Sales (and no, I can't do it via the invoice status!)?

It's really hard to believe that there has never been anyone who has had this problem! And yes - I know that you can filter for “fully invoiced” in the sales app. Unfortunately, this is not the turnover, as i) credit notes are not taken into account and ii) the order date and not the invoice date is used.

I also know that there is the Invoice Analysis in Accounting, which gives you the correct figures. But again: I can't give accounting access to a sales representative who is only supposed to see his own figures, can I? We have now made something out of necessity (duplicated the Invoice Analysis menu in Sales and selectively hidden the Accounting app with a Market Place App), but this is really only a makeshift solution. Can I hear a laugh in Walldorf?
