Please advise how you distinguish in your company all the contacts: customers / suppliers.

How to distinguish the customers per segment?

How to distinguish the suppliers per type of product: trade goods, maintenance, catering, energy, ....

Can you also indicate your preferance: tags or industries? Or do you combine? I understand both options, but would like to know the pro's and con's of each choice! Besides reporting and/or mass mailing, what do you use these tags/industries for?

Hello,

You can use the Tags option in the Contacts.

Whenever you are creating the Vendor/Customer/Employees, use the tag and assign it to the Contacts

You can filter the date based on the tags.

Use the Industry field available in the Sales & Purchase tab to differentiate the suppliers.
