When you create a field, what basically happens is a column gets created in the table and the table represents the model. When there’s data in the field, it eventually increases the database size. It is recommended to use less fields but if it’s required then there’s no other option but to create it. You can use related field if it’s related to other field, or compute the value of the field to prevent it from storing.
