Date Widget Autocomplete in Odoo16

Question

The date field in odoo with the datepicker widget always suggests older selected values when accessing the date calendar.
I checked the odoo16 source code and i find autocomplete="off".

So what is causing the autocomplete suggestions ? Anyone else have this problem?
I checked with different browsers and the problem persists.

Hi,
This feature has been recently added by this commit:   https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/e0ccfc9160ff7f3f367c3f0e4ace579c0486eb73 [1]   , try upgrading the web module as well as ensure you have latest source code in your instance (not sure the shared code is from your instance)
