Recurring Payments

Question

I was looking to setup recurring payments but odoo lets us save the card details but in my case i dont want odoo to store the details i want the payment Acquirers to store the details for instance i want stripe to store the payment details and charge every month etc. is there any way or any leads to it ?

Hello, Odoo does not store the payment details of your customers; it stores only a /payment token/  which holds a /reference /to the payment details stored by the provider (acquirer). You can use the Subscriptions app to schedule a recurring charge through that payment token.
Now, if you want Stripe to take care of the recurring charge, it is not possible in standard Odoo. You must either configure it manually from the Stripe dashboard or install a third-party Odoo module.
