Receipt Thermal Printer Advice for iPad/Macbook User.

Hello fellow Odoo users,

I am looking to get a receipt printer for my retail store. I'm thinking that my set-up will have to following POS items:
iPad
Barcode Scanner
Internet Connection
Thermal Printer

My question is in choosing the right printer that can easily connect to Odoo and my iPad. I went through the suggested list of Odoo and I liked the Epson TM-M30III but it is a bit pricey for my small store. Do you think the Epson TM-T82III will be iOS, Mac and Odoo compatible? That is will it b

Just suggestion, I am using All in One desktop with touch screen so it is easier to connect any thermal Printer.
I am not sure how a thermal printer can be used with ipad because it requires bluetooth function.
I am interested to know this aswell. Do keep us updated when you find your working  setup with Ipad.

Hi,

Yes, the Epson TM-T82II-i is fully compatible with Odoo POS, including on iPads and macOS, without the need for an IoT Box. It supports the ePOS SDK JavaScript protocol over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, allowing direct integration with Odoo POS systems.
