I have odoo 17 online database.
I also have custom domain name.
But for the website application, I'm confused a lot. I want to use my own domain only for my business website but not for the confuring odoo online database.
How to isolate them? Because, whenever I create website it just mixing.

So let's imagine below scenario.
I will keep my database name with example.odoo.com. helping with freeze parameter.
Then I have to configure www.example.com website separately. What to should be the CNAME record?
www.example.com -> www.example.odoo.com or just www.example.com -> example.odoo.com?
I think you should contact odoo support to ask about this because i've never done this, good luck friend
One possible solution is that you can take your main website and leave it alone, and then make a subdomain under you main website to have the Odoo system on.
for example:
yourdomain.com (your main site)
odoo.yourdomain.com (your odoo system)
then you would have to confirgure the emails using aliases.
