Baptiste graduated as a car mechanic. During the boom of the internet in the late 90's and early 2000's he bought his first computer and it crashed constantly. He learned there was something else named Linux and using the internet as a tool for continuous improvement and development he learned to code, to draw, to 3D model, to maintain infrastructure, and so much more.
Meanwhile he worked as a production supervisor in a factory, learned the ropes of doing sales and business development in an international global leader, and started his own company in 2016.
Failing forward he stumbled into a freelance job as an Odoo Developer with a Belgian Gold Partner, Accomodata, and lead the successful Customer Success Team, and ended op as an Account Manager.
Now he is a full time entrepreneur, bootstrapping the best startup in the world, Jobbottle.com.
In 2014 I won a brainstorm session on battling youth unemployment in Belgium. My idea was simple. Print job opportunities on the label of bottles of water. These bottles are free and are distributed at local events, schools, smart dispensers.
But life caught up and the project ended up as a concept. At that time there was no platform that could deliver all this functionality.
Fast-forward to 2025. I worked as an freelance Odoo developer at a Belgian Gold Partner for 4 years and I learned that odoo could deliver all the functionality that I needed. Events, Recruitment, E-commerce, CRM, Website, all in one platform.
The freelance job ended and I found myself in a position where I could launch the concept for free water and a brand new advertising channel, in an open market.
So I bootstrapped my concept to online odoo.com. I configured Odoo, and I started selling this concept at network events. I follow up my customers with CRM, I have a website where customer can order the product, I can easily publish jobs on the website. I even integrated an AI-agent I named Steve Jobbottle.
In the future I want to have an api that helps big publishers to publish jobs by API calls. I also want smart dispensers, where a user of Jobbottle.com scans his QR code at the machine and the machine then dispenses a free bottle of water. The user will then see some jobs that fit his profile.
Odoo Online gave me a platform that could easily be used an configured for the startup stage, and it can be expanded with custom code to help the company grow.
