Akarta started its operations in 2011, initially focusing on the production and sale of confectionery products, especially specially designed cakes, under the Cote D'Azur brand. The company gradually expanded its activities and began to produce some key raw materials, including sugar paste, which was previously imported from abroad, domestically. Although sugar paste was initially used only in its own cake production process, over time the company introduced this product to the local market under the SWEET BOSS brand. Despite significant competition from imported products, Akarta's commitment to high quality and competitive prices was quickly appreciated in the domestic market and demand for its products began to grow rapidly.

The current goal is to further expand the product range and, at the same time, start exporting products to foreign markets using its production capacity. With these steps, the company aims to strengthen its position in the international market.


For Akarta, the Odoo platform was used to implement the following modules:

  • CRM Module-This tool helps manage all interactions with customers and potential customers, organize communication history and sales activities. CRM serves as a central base for improving customer relationships and ensuring business growth.
  • Sales Module-This module centralizes the sales process, from preparing quotes and approving sales orders to monitoring the activities of the sales team. It provides a clear overview of revenue streams and sales dynamics, while automatically linking sales orders to the Warehouse and Finance modules.
  • Inventory Module-Optimizes warehouse operations, ensures accurate tracking of goods, real-time management of inventory levels and registration of internal movements of products. In particular, it speeds up the picking process by determining the location of products in the warehouse with Shelving (Location) Management.
  • Accounting Module-This module provides a comprehensive financial management system that manages all accounting records, invoices, and financial reports to give the company a real-time view of its financial position. It centralizes financial information from all other operations (Sales, Production).
  • Manufacturing Module-This module ensures efficient and organized unit production by managing bills of materials (BOM), scheduling production orders, and monitoring work center operations. It automatically triggers the production process based on sales requirements.
