Is there any way I can actually see how is this behaviour and how can I replicate it to a custom module I just created using odoo studio?

Vistas
1) Go to your custom model.
2) Toggle the Studio Mode by clicking on the Equipment Icon.
3) Click on "Views" tab.
4) Activate the "Search View".
5) Drag and drop the Filter Component on the Filters Menu.
6) Give it a label and filter domain.
