I have installed Odoo Community 18 on my VPS. Email Marketing is working — test mails are sent and received successfully. However, the images embedded in the email templates do not show up for the recipient (they appear as broken image icons).
So far I have checked the following:
- web.base.url and report.url are set correctly to my HTTPS domain.
- Images exist on the server and appear in the assets inside Odoo.
- Sending plain text and links works fine, only images fail to load.
Even when I use a direct image URL (from Odoo or from an external source like Google), the preview inside Odoo looks correct, but the sent email still shows broken images.
Has anyone faced this issue before? Is there a recommended way to make Odoo email marketing images public so they render properly in recipients’ inboxes?

What is the URL of a broken image in one of the emails by the time it is opened in an email client? Which email client (gmail web, outlook desktop, etc?)
I right click on the ? Image in the email and there were no link, the test email was send to a Gmail address, opened in Apple mail App
No URL sounds like it is being blocked - check the privacy settings of Apple Mail - and also check what the URL is when opened via mail.google.com
