I have a scenario where let's say a Bar buys Keg of 50L Beer and from this 50L they sell 2L Jugs and 500mL Mugs of Beer. So, 25 Jugs and 100 Mugs of Beer in total from 1 Keg. Is there a way I can track how many Mugs and Jugs have been sold from the Keg and how many is remaining? Will I use L for unit of measure or units since 25 units/100 units of Jugs/Mugs from 1 unit of Keg? Which modules will I be using if this is configurable? Appreciate all help.

I was able to achieve this using BoM! For anyone interested; I made keg 50L as a separate UoM in Volume and then set Jug & Mug as Manufacture under inventory to be able to create BoM for them. I used kit for both Jug and Mug and used keg 50L as item line and set the unit ratio accordingly.

I would use L as UoM. Create UoM Keg, Jugs and Mugs in the UoM category - Volume. Have the purchase UoM as Keg for the product. Sales UoM could be Jug or Mug.

Inventory > Configuration > UoM Categories

Further if you wish to track remaining qty in each Keg, you would want to enable tracking by Lots on the inventory tab of the product (Beer). Each Keg would need to be identified as Lot
