Jabir bin Zaid Foundation
Imam Jabir bin Zaid Waqf Foundation is a waqf-based philanthropic institution founded by
the Grand Mufti of Oman. It empowers communities through Islamic scholarship, long-term
humanitarian aid, and sustainable development by investing endowment assets into
compliant ventures. The Foundation supports needy students, finances critical medical care,
maintains Islamic educational resources, and employs waqf-based investments to ensure
enduring impact. Driven by values of trust, excellence, and achievement, the Foundation
launched the Gheras Endowment Investment Fund in 2023 and has grown its assets to over
OMR 6 million, showcasing a model of resilience and strategic philanthropy aligned with
Oman’s Vision 2040.
