Hi, previously I created project, task and timesheet and later activated project cost as per https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/11.0/accounting/others/analytic/timesheets.html
How can I calculate cost (Amount) for previously created timesheet?

One way is to export the existing timesheet and import it back without making any changes. Odoo will recalculate the Project cost.
