Hello to all,

I am new to ODOO and would like to use it for my german small business.

For this I have installed ODOO 15 CE.

I don't know if there is such a demand in other countries. Therefore my question is more directed to German community users.

I create customer invoices with ODOO. Do my purchase orders with ODOO and process vendor invoices there as well. The bank vouchers are imported and reconciled with the OCA addons.

Small businesses have to do a cash based accounting ("EÜR") by German law. I have already installed the OCA addons "account-reconcile", "bank-statement-import", "mis_template_financial_report" and "account-financial-reporting". However, I do not get the needed cash based accounting ("EÜR") report with it.

The report should simply show all income and expenses with the document reference.

Has anyone of you already realized this and can tell me which reports to use and how to adjust them if necessary?

Thanks a lot

Berni

Hi Berni,

you could use the Odoo standard feature for cash basis accounting which already helps you for declaring the VAT correctly on cash basis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEgG4ExZt70

For having a cash-basis income report, you have to build a custom mis builder report then.

More than a year later nobody from Odoo has answered - and it seems it is not very interesting for the Odoo-Team. Actually we have Odoo 18.3 and it still does not offer "Einnahmen-/Überschussrechnung" in Accounting.  :-(

(The German tax office requires an ‘income surplus account’ ("Einnahmen-/Überschussrechnung" or short "EÜR"), which is the counterpart to the profit and loss statement (P&L) in double-entry bookkeeping. Small and medium-sized companies are not required to use double-entry bookkeeping and must instead calculate their profits using the simple EÜR method.)
