Real-Time Inventory Management

Before implementing Odoo, Axxon faced significant inventory management challenges in its Mexican warehouse. Whenever customers from America requested components, staff at the Shenzhen headquarters had to manually check for stock from the periodically updated inventory list in a spreadsheet. It was inefficient due to time differences and inaccurate stock counts, resulting in frequent complaints from key accounts about delayed deliveries. 


After implementing Odoo, the system's Inventory module helps accurately manage over 1000+ SKUs, including small plastic parts, in real-time. This data accuracy enables the Mexican office to quickly respond to customer requests by reserving the necessary components in the system. The Odoo system has enabled the Mexican office to operate independently, while minimizing workload and providing headquarters staff with access to stock levels, ensuring the smooth operation of local offices. Axxon previously outsourced its accounting operations in Mexico, Korea, and the Netherlands to external agencies for local compliance. This arrangement proved to be not only a financial misallocation but also deprived Axxon of crucial data independence. The reliance on requesting reports from third parties was time-consuming and introduced significant risks of miscommunication.

Regardless of the origin—Asia, America, or Europe—all sales data is now centralized in Odoo. Once a sales order (SO) is recorded, Odoo automatically synchronizes all relevant data to its Accounting app, guaranteeing accuracy.
