Denis is an accomplished developer with a deep-rooted passion for Python and Linux server management. He joined Odoo in 2012, and his extensive experience extends beyond coding, encompassing the realm of cybersecurity and ethical hacking, equipping him with invaluable insights into safeguarding digital assets. As a cybersecurity developer at Odoo, Denis identifies and mitigates security vulnerabilities while actively engaging in bug bounty programs. Beyond coding, Denis is a dedicated educator, providing security training to fellow developers and playing a role in talent acquisition.
Florian is a Security Engineer at Odoo S.A. with two years of experience in enhancing software security. He manage the bug bounty program, validating and addressing reported vulnerabilities, and are part of the code review team, analyzing and mitigating risks flagged by automated tests. In addition, Florian has been developing new automated tests to improve Odoo's security detection capabilities. Their efforts ensure that Odoo's software remains secure, reliable, and resilient for its global user base.
In this session, we will uncover the most common security issues encountered during Odoo implementation. By exploring these vulnerabilities, we will provide critical insights on how to address and mitigate them, ensuring a secure and robust Odoo environment. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the security challenges in Odoo development and practical strategies to safeguard their implementations.
