There some factors:
1. You need to make the device to be available on the internet to allow odoo instance to connect, there are many ways to do this via NAT Port for example
2. Some devices might have different setting which are not compatible with our module, in that case we will help you because i personally encountered many of it.

The ZKTeco UA200 device is expected to work with Odoo if it supports standard ZKTeco communication protocols over TCP/IP.
