Odoo 19 introduces a redesigned inventory valuation system to better meet the needs of accountants.

The previous approach had three main limitations:

1. An overload of unnecessary journal entries in automated valuation,

2. A lack of automation in manual valuation, and

3. Inability to record operations retroactively.

Additionally, it resulted in redundant data and imposed unnecessary technical constraints.

The new valuation logic: simpler but larger in scope.
