Géry is in charge of the javascript framework team in Odoo's Research and Development Department (R&D).
He is one of the main contributors to many large javascript projects related to the web client,
such as Odoo Studio, Odoo Spreadsheet, or the Owl component system.
More generally, he is involved in improving the state of the Odoo javascript ecosystem,
including the quality of the code, documentation, architecture, and many related technical choices.
In this talk, we'll discuss all the new developments in the JS framework with Odoo 15.
Including:
- new asset management system
- new core framework/architecture for the web client
- the ongoing rewrite of every javascript view in Owl
