Short description
A field-ready native mobile app built for Tensen-Huon, a topography firm operating across Belgium. Discover how Odoo helped streamline field operations with offline access, geolocation, notifications, and a user-focused design — all tailored to real business needs.
Abstract
Tensen-Huon is a leading engineering firm specialized in topography and positioning technologies, active across Belgium and abroad.
In 2024, they chose Odoo to support their operations and streamline their field team workflows.
We developed a dedicated mobile application, fully integrated with their Odoo instance, tailored to their day-to-day field activities.
The app enables their collaborators to:
• View their daily planning and assigned missions
• Log their work time and activity reports directly from the field
Why a mobile app instead of a website?
• Works offline, even in remote or low-connectivity areas
• Push notifications keep users informed of changes in real time
• Geolocation enriches context and automates data input
• Optimized UX for quick, focused actions in the field (not general navigation)
In this 20-minute talk, we will show:
• How we translated specific business needs into concrete Odoo features
• How the mobile app improved daily operations
• How notifications, geolocation and a user-friendly interface increased adoption
• How Odoo’s flexibility allowed us to build a reliable, field-ready solution without compromising on usability
A client-focused success story that highlights how Odoo can efficiently support operational needs beyond the office.
