MTO routes are popular as these enable to easily navigate between SO, PO and related transfers. However, the strong link created between POs and SOs through MTO results in a lack of flexibility (fixed chain of transfers, difficult to re-allocate units). Flexible MTO routes are made possible by Odoo 17, allowing for adding extra transfers on the go and switching from MTO to MTS, while keeping a full traceabillity.
