The Buffalo office opened its Business System Analyst (BSA) department in January. My first task was to build a strong team of analysts from the Buffalo area as quickly as possible, in order to keep up with the increasing need for BSAs here at Odoo. As an external hire in the middle of a global pandemic, this goal was a bit more challenging than usual.

This talk will cover my journey as a new employee at Odoo, how I built my team of 21 in just 5 months, and how remote work affected this endeavor.
