This talk will explore the key concepts behind integrating hardware devices with Odoo.
You'll learn:
- Integration methods: with or without an IoT Box (and when to use each)
- The software architecture of an IoT Box,
- How the IoT Box detects external devices (difference between interface and driver),
- How to send requests to the IoT Box and listen for answers (long polling, WebSocket, webRTC)
- Practical tips for debugging an IoT Box
