Bart Becks is a tech entrepreneur, investor, and board member of the European Innovation Council (EIC). He is the founder of Genisys, former CEO of Skynet, Executive Chairman of EURACTIV media network, and co-founder of BeCentral. He also chaired iMinds (now imec) and is an active startup investor and backer of Syndicate One.
Europe wants its startups to grow into global leaders. In this talk, we’ll explore how initiatives such as the European Innovation Council and the EU’s Startup and Scaleup Strategy help ambitious founders overcome growth challenges—by providing access to funding, networks, and the right support to scale faster and stronger in their country, across Europe, and worldwide.
